NOTE: I have no idea if this will run across ALL mods, but I got it to work for 2 of the more infamous mods - DNF 2013 and Duke Forces. ALSO NOTE: I have not found a way to get the Hi-Res Pack or the Duke-XXX pack to run on Mac, but this tutorial can enable other mods that dont alterreplace source files. Duke Nukem 3D Emulator Download The LatestFor DNF 2013: 1. Download the latest EDuke32 (placed it in ApplicationsEDuke32, so that the EDuke32.app would be.ApplicationsEDuke32EDuke32.app) 2. Created a LibraryApplication SupportEDuke32 folder (not sure if needed, but spam-filter recommended it) 3. Downloaded DNF, saved to DownloadsDNF (IMPORTANT NOTE: DNF came with its own GRP file, which I think helped a great deal in gettng it to run) 4. Opened Terminal 5. Typed in cd UsersYourUserNameDownloadsDNF 6. Then I typed in ApplicationsEDuke32EDuke32.appContentsMacOSEDuke32 -usecwd -jUsers(whoami)LibraryApplication SupportEDuke32 -gDNF.GRP -xDNFGAME.con 7. EDuke32 opened, select to start game - DONE For Duke Forces - I had to add a few steps, given the mod did NOT have a GRP. Ill use the S indcator next to steps that are the same compared to DNF 2013 tutorial. Created in LibraryApplication SupportEDuke32 folder (not sure if needed) 3. Went to Steams Common Folder, then Duke Nukem 3Dgamerootclassic 4. Typed in cd UsersYourUserNameDownloadsDukeForces (instead of DNF) 6. Then I typed in ApplicationsEDuke32EDuke32.appContentsMacOSEDuke32 -usecwd -jUsers(whoami)LibraryApplication SupportEDuke32 -gDUKE3D.GRP -xGAME.con (NOTE: How I changed the GRP from gDNF to gDUKE3D, which I got from the classic file in Duke 3Ds steam folder, and I changed DNFGAME.con to GAME.con - which i reflective in the Duke Forces Mod Pack. EDuke32 opened, select to start game - DONE I hope this helps any Mac users in playing some awesome games. I tried to create a package that would just run the terminal commands to start the game, but alas, I failed. If anyone has a way to simplify this even further (sans the trolly response of get a windows machine), please add. However, sadly, I still cant seem to find a way to get the HRD pack or DukePlus to work on Mac. WOrked great, however, I never got DNF to work, it would load sound but never video just a black screen. Some geospatial data on this website is provided by geonames.org.
